I went to the meet the postal officer at my mailbox to give him a letter before he left when he smiles and says, "I guess you are waiting for this!" and hands me a
HUGE box!

Inside I find out that someone gifted me a Tamiya 1/32nd scale P-51D Mustang!

I too prefer a Chevy over a Ford but I can help with a P-51 as I have an extra 1/72nd scale kit unbuilt. So unless you claim blindness (like I do) for Braille Scale...

strictly spoken my post is no latest acquisition:

on tuesday a care package from the u.s. arrived - thank you very, very much saúl! you're a very generous gentleman!

ultracast's superb werner mölders figure and verlinden tactics set! enough figures for a nice airfield scenery with my bf-109:

the other latest acquisition is not strictly modelling related but it's a supply of nerve food, needed by any modeller ... 20 bottles of hard to get "odin trunk" honey beer ... well, erm, uuuuuuh ... 18 still to go since i developed a lot of thirst yesterday evening after returning home from work! (and of course i shouldn't have had the second one! erm! harrumph! )

As for the drink, I keep a stash of Żywiec Full, Lech, Warka Strong, Żywiec Porter, and Tatra Mocne. The Polish beers are not for me, but for my wife so she leaves me alone!
