Chad,

That is a nice haul! This particular Tamiya HMMV release uses the Italeri molds to create the Bushmaster armed prototype which wasn't accepted by the US Army. I will check as I think I have a resin hard top conversion which, if your interested, I would trade for the Bushmaster parts (you could use them in a LAV to make a rudimentary turret interior as that is my intention).

Regards,

Small order from Squadron. The Hobby Boss tracks have no instructions, nor do they specify which Sd.Kfz 251 they are for.IE,Tamiya,AFV Club,DML.

I am going to add this ,.50 mount on my late Sd.Kfz 11 for a post WW 3 build in the future.

The hobby Boss Sd.Kfz. 251 tracks were originally released by Link Model Workshop and designed specifically for the Tamiya Sd.Kfz. 251 series. See Terry's opinion:

If you don't want to read all of it, it fits Tamiya perfectly, is passable with the Dragon kits but does not fit the AFV Club kits.

Regards,

Thanks for the info Saul. I may have a Tamiya 1/35 in the stash.

At the Brewer Brother's show, I picked up a 1/72 scale Airfix SM-79, a 1/72 scale Heller C-160 Transall, an ACE 1/72 scale machine gun car, (early war German), and a 1/72 scale IBG Bedford troop carrier.

Today I received the following:

Trumpeter 1/35 German Neubaufahrzeug Rheinmetall Tank

Trumpeter 1/35 NKL-26

Very cool Saul. There is an IPMS RT that has an article on the Russian stuff. What do you think of the Neubaufahrzeug Rheinmetall Tank?

I haven't looked at either kit yet. I know that the NKL-26 will need new sides and top/rear, plus new spring mounts for the skis thanks to Terry's excellent review on PMMS.

The Neubaufahrzeug I have not touched simply because I need to get ready for my trip. The moldings do look nice though.
