That result kit should make for a pretty little build. I was eyeballing it myself...but don't currently have anything to pair with it.
Picked up some colored pencils to hopefully do the Vigi nose art with. I'll have to conduct a little test to confirm it's actually going to work...but I'm cautiously optimistic. :zen

Thanks Saul. I have built two of the 1/35 versions,and the early KV 2 in 1/48. If I remember correctly,care is needed in aligning the suspension parts on the 1/48 versions. IE,the road whee arms need to sit just right,or the tracks will fit oddly.

As mentioned elsewhere, I've not done any modeling in about 18 months, but still have acquired some new goodies.
First batch of goodies is photoetch stuff, mostly for my Tamiya IJN Tone that I decided to go nuts on. All of the sets are from Alliance Model Works. Also got a set of turned bollards from AMW and also a set of 25mm triple mount guns. Next is a set of PE from Gold Medal Models for my 1/400 Queen Mary II. And then 2 sets from Eduard for an S-3 Viking.
And here are kit's I've picked up, all of these are actually in the last month. Got the Meng D9R from a friend on Facebook for a great price. The rest of the kits I picked up last weekend and got for free. Meeting of a local model club was this past Sunday, and a gentleman showed up and near the end of the meeting, he said he had several model kits to give away that he got from a fellow club member that was thinning his stash out several years ago, and he didn't have the time or patience to build any of them so he decided to come to our meeting and see if anyone was interested. Saw several I was interested in and grabbed when no one else expressed interest in them. Really looking forward to the New Jersey, I absolutely love the Iowa class battleships.
