My Dear Laura I would never dreamed of such a thing

Here is what i found today, it will replace my Bedford QL in the Torch campaign ( i saw they had that one in the store for 34euro!)

Started with the quad and it is a joy to build so far compared to the QL, even if it's from 1974! :drinks

Nice! Although I never seen the reason for metal Sherman tracks so I am curious to see how they look and behave.

Regards,

Saul i've been trying to find a set or two of T-48 DS tracks without much luck. I saw one built with Friuls and they were pretty tight so I bought a set to try.

I've never tried plastic tracks. Redlegs disaster with his M-40 has me gun shy.

Note that I did not mention AFV Club's Sherman tracks?

Most people believe the 'workable' tag, workable isn't even the proper word to use in the case of tracks, it should be articulating. Anyway, AFV Club's plastic is very brittle so the tracks must be assembled and then glued frozen. Do not let them articulate or they fall apart. Also, do not use 'hot' cements on them. I have had success with both Testors ModelMaster and CA.

Regards,

That halftrack model will be used as like a twilight 2000 type of model. Not for the 2111 build. I want to add the .50 cal.mount found on the 2.5T GMC. I will try to add a winch, and possibly a front drive axle. :hmmm

Here is Aimee's and my haul from the Nats in Omaha.
