Latest Acquisitions
Some packages came this week but I was too busy with work related certifications to open and enjoy.
Dragon Models USA... their store is having some great sales but I always end up wanting to use my left over dollars. :coolio
A replacement for my Italeri kit... tie it with a Panzerbüchse from Dragon and I am set.
This is HUGE! Bronco now sells it in parts for dioramas but this is the best value as you can part it out yourself if you don't have the room for the complete glider.

I already had the MiniArt MB 170 so this is just to see the differences.
MiniArt's GAZ series continues with this jewel.
This wheels set is from their upcoming ZiS-5 and ZiS-6 series (ZiS-6 wheel set also sold separately). Why buy these? To replace the wheels on other brands while staying with the styrene medium. For example, Trumpeter has a super ammunition trailer with poly-vinyl tires for the wheels, so I replaced them with the MiniArt wheels from the GAZ wheel set.

This is a Soviet T-62 from their incursion into Afghanistan with the Mujahideen pictured included as figures. Note that these are Mujahideen (not Taliban) but can be made to be any of those tribal warriors since fashion doesn't seem to change much in that part of the World.
Training variant of the Su-9 sent for review. Not sure why as I didn't help with research (maybe the landing gear is similar to the ground attack Sukhoi images I offered).
