Nice scores guys! Jeeves, that tank looks good. Better charge your phone though!

Looking forward to seeing these get started.

I just received my Hobbylink Japan order yesterday. I'll try to get pics posted later.

Okay, here's my latest and final birthday purchase finally arrived from Hobbylink Japan:

Birthday_2016_.jpg

I got two of the Heller kits so I could make one tank French and the other either Egyptian or Israeli. I might even use the turret from the one kit and add it to a Sherman hull to make the Egyptian hybrid. I don't know yet. I do know I need to source some new tracks though; this one has the typical Heller craptastic tracks.

The other two Modelcollects just might be started fairly soon when I complete some more kits.

NOT AN IMPULSE BUY, but a kit that I've been stalking for a while - From an eBay trader that I've mentioned before here on MA - Dawnsgrocerystore - $77.86 USD including postage out here to Middle Earth.

If I'd bought it at Hannants in the UK, the kit alone would cost roughly that much. If I recall correctly the kit without post was around $67.50 UDD from the same trader when it first came out just over a year ago. Moral of the story, sometimes it's worth waiting a few months to buy a 'new release' and save a packet

Worth thinking about if you're contemplating for example, the new Tamiya 1:32 Mozzie... Jus' sayin' :eek:ldguy

Consider it done, Bob, alongside the Airfix Defiant when it arrives next week. I have a feeling that my 'dance card' is going to be very busy this winter !!

I have seen them on another Forums while watching a guy use them on his aircraft build. You are right, they are some incredibly amazing parts! Most impressive and realistic looking. Well worth the investment to anyone.

Well done good today. Almost at the end of my spree. Got the Must Have Leopard 2A4M Canadian. My friend Anthony Seward was instrumental in getting this right and if I need help well the Strats (Lord Strathcona's Horse, The Royal Canadians) are just down the road a ways. To go with it are 2 books on the Leo[ard 2A4M Can and Leopard 2A6M Can, mud flaps, update set, antennas, plugs, and tow hooks.
Then because I cant find it and I have 2 details sets I got another Boxer. Finally one of my favorite float planes the Kingfisher and a very nice ref for it. Now to find time and patience and start building faster.

Excellent scores guy!

James I have two versions of the Boxer in 1/72 scale; I'm hoping to get started on them soon once I get some larger models done. I've always wanted a Canadian Leopard in 1/72 scale too, but the scratchbuilt additions are beyond me. Maybe someday someone will come up with a conversion set in my scale.

Nice books too guys! I would especially love to read those two WWI books, they look really good.

i managed to get only one more addition to my stash from a fellow IPMS member who gave me his raffle prize. I should be able to post it later today.

Mail lady brought me Chris Maddings from Inside the Armour's newest book. A quick thumb through and I can see a lot of info to read up about scratch building. Also a book I ordered at Christmas has finally made it through the mail system on Richthofen's Circus. :)
