Look what I found on my door step this morning. I opened the box and jumped up and down and screamed like a girl when Elvis came on stage. Totally unexpected and very much appreciated!

On Friday at Hobby Day my friend Tony drove me down to our local Hobby Shop and he got me this model for my birthday:
While we were there, I had a little extra birthday money so I picked up these two IBG kits of two different versions of the Hungarian Toldi tank:
I am stunned at the interior detail of the C-54! That one will wait a bit until I finish a few more models so I can focus more intently on it. However, I can't wait to start digging into those two Toldis.

ldguy Yep! I got a chance To get out of the house (SHE said "go have fun somewhere") Sooo I went to a resale shop (the guy buys storage lockers and sells the continents). Now I went in just to look-really- didn't find anything :coolio ......Weell, there was a couple of cool looking boxes. I saw they would fit well into my "collection" of vintage, plastic-put-togethers. So I bought 'em. Guess what? they had vintage plastic parts in them!- I was amazed

When I heard Tommy's War was going to stop making vehicles I decided to get a couple for later on down the road. They arrived today
The Crossley Light Tender was a general purpose truck and mine will be with the RFC while the Thornycraft Type J Lorry mounts a 13 pounder anti aircraft gun.
