I went head and pulled the trigger on some Abrams kits from DML :laugh: For the last week I've been wanting to do one or more versions

Please get their thinner before you try them as you'll end up unhappy otherwise... They are very nice paints but must have a primer as they don't bind to bare plastic very well.
As for the Abrams, Meng supposedly will have the ultimate one coming out but another Asian company is releasing a series as well! Strange as I thought the second iteration Dragon kits were excellent.

Thanks Saul, I did not think about reducer
I have three versions in mind for these;
1) USMC in Afghanistan
2) Australian Army three tone (decals should be here any day)
3) US Army in Korea
By the way almost ordered the decals for the one in the bottom picture. With news of more Abrams coming out, that version just might be next

That is cool! I'd love to have the decals for that face in 1/72 scale. I guess that will never happen. It fits so well on an Abrams. I'll have to look into getting one for my Australian Army if I haven't already. I will just have to use some of my decals for Australian Leopards to come somewhat close to one though.

It's an old Renwal kit ... But so hard to find 1/48 scale models ... and that's what I need for My Gas station build ...

I was at a local swap meet and model contest this last weekend. The venders there are very unfair! they bring stuff I can't or won't resist.hmy:
Needless to say I found some stuff
The prices were good (for me any way) So I felt like I got some good buys and still had $$ for my hot dog plate lunch.

Thanks Ryan ... The Renwal kit ... is pre-Revell in this series of models made back in the 6o's probably ... I found some at the Squadron Warehouse tour made by lindburg ... same scale 1/48 O scale to the RR'rs ... also for the 1/48 Dios modelers ... lots of possibilities ...

And My friend Prop-duster where ya been ... nice Bat Moblie Or are going to build the futura ??? I also like that Hawk Kit & the Alburn speedster ... what scale is that one ???

Well some kits and books came today. Bulking up my WNW as I sell off my other stuff and a Chinese tank for something different. The blue book is Fighter Aircraft of the 1914-18 war

The enablers at the local hobby shop were at it again. I don't usually post in here but this one has me pretty excited. My Uncle was a WAG on board a Halifax for the last year of the war. They were converting to the Lancaster when the war ended. I've built the old Airfix Halifax but have been wanting an updated mold of the Mk. III to be released and here it is.
