I always think of the movie, The Rocketeer, when I see this plane.

I too think of the Rocketeer when I see the Gee Bee...
but then I think of Jenny Blake when I see the Rocketeer!

Anyhow, some eBay purchases came in thanks to those who bought from my garage sales:

First off, some Begemot decals bought from a seller in Poland. It is obvious why I got the set. Three sheets, over 50 different schemes and non standard stencils are included. There is a separate sheet, in development, for the stencils.

Again, over 50 different schemes to choose from. As the Fulcrum sheet, exceptional instructions are included.

However, they want me to review their products for the Rye Field Tiger, so expect a closer look. Yes, these are not production item packaging.

The seller (from ARC) actually saved me a few dollars and met me in Manhattan to save on shipping as well. so, I gave him a sharkmouth scheme (actually two sets) for his P-39 which I knew he wanted.

You had them to spare? :rotf

This is a good kit? I'm trying to keep mental score of Good Eduard v. Bad Eduard.

He got Hasegawa and Monogram (from their better sheet) P-400 decals. He seemed happy!

Other than the incorrect nose of the MiG-21BIS, this Fishbed series is high up there along with Great Wall Hobby's Fulcrum series. Oh, I am about to buy another Fulcrum too as the Begemot sheet I posted has a scheme I hadn't see before and Begemot's owner will be sending me images he based them off of for me to peruse.

Nice score. That is a good looking scheme too. Maybe someday I'll do one like that in 1/72 scale...
