I love the looks of the OV-10, especially the A/C but I only bid on the 2 in hopes to get 1. But now they are here I am thinking instead of a WNW kit I should build one of these next. Gathering refs and starting planning already. The only thing I question in the kit is the AIM 9L. Thats got to be too early for an A model. At least the D has AIM 9Bs with it. Anyways more research to do. as My J.1 is almost finished.

I wouldn't bother with the 'winders at all James. It's true A's were wired for them but almost never carried them, and from reading (a lot) on these machines, they never fired the AIM-9's in anger. If you're doing the 'D' in 'Desert Storm' then 9L's would be appropriate.
I was determined to buy/build an 'A' this year, but I got distracted by other 'shiny' things so I've put it on my Christmas List, just hope 'Frau' remembers to read it this year :pinch: .

I could say I didn't pull yours ...
... but that may be considered a offence ... no I made the post
(No HY&%) and when you went back to the recent topics tab it only showed 254 pages ... But yet it was showing I made the last post ... upon clicking the last post by me link it would take me to page 474 when this post was on 475 I guess the site was just in the process of adding a new page and hadn't done it yet ... I'm thinking it is a Windows 10 problem ... although it is much better than the previous Win 7 ... Just a tad slower ... So we'll blame it on Micro-soft ... and Ed

Got my alignment tool made last night. Turned out pretty good and should do what I am needing it to do. (pictures a little later)
As to PE benders I went with this one that The Small Shop makes. It is their 5.5 inch tool. They have several that are smaller and a huge 8 inch PE tool. I chose this one as it is Hard Anodized aluminum which make for a tougher surface on the soft aluminum. That means the little sharp corners will stay sharp longer.
Have used it for a lot of stuff besides PE. It is a great small (flat) parts holder and sheet plastic holder as well.
Oh and the price on this one is $69 plus shipping.
