An order from Lucky Model came in:

This eBay purchase was sent to another person by mistake. Fortunately for me, curmudgeon123 forwarded the sheets to me. They are for my recent Zvezda Mi-26 (any idea which scheme?):

Well today my CMP FAT newly issued by Mirror Modelos arrived. Gorgeous kit that is head and shoulders over the ancient Tamiya kit. Resin Wheels, P and 2 marking options with a very nice paint page by Ammo of Mig. Both markings are Canadian.

And my order from ebay of 50 30ml paint bottles and 100 15ml paint bottles arrived. Not bad for $31.00 US.

Finally received my package from WNW. Definitely wanted the Gotha and wanted a smaller plane to go with it. The Albatross version of the D7 Was a good pick. Almost ordered the version with the BMW engine, but went with this one for now.

The one thing Idon't understand is why there aren't more marking options. It would have been nice to have a couple more lozenge schemes besides the one. Another thing that would have been nice and as an ongoing thing with their kits is to make any wing or flying surface that is covered in Clear Doped Linen (CDL) to be some translucent plastic without an pigment to speak of. Then with some careful preshading and light color coats you could still get some of that translucent effect.

Hold on to your hat Paul, I know James will be along with all sorts of links to 3rd party decals for WnW and other 1:32 WWI aircraft. Most of these kits come with 5 schemes, how many you want?

The DVI is really a nice kit, I enjoyed mine. Plan well ahead and think about the rigging of the control surfaces. They don't fall together but they have great engineering.

Deal makers will sell what is wanted. If you know of more schemes with lozenges write and they may consider them. Anyways the kit has 4 of 5 schemes with lozenge fuselages.
Gotha I know of Pheons set and it is big.

And a fav of mine has Sopwith Snipes and 3 Canadian Fokkers, 2 flown by Billy Barker and one at the Knowlton museum. Unfortunately it is the only Albie version and I believe is made up of various parts so a Franken Fokker

Lifelike Decals makes 4 sets for the Fokker DVII of which only 2 sets have some Albatross versions. I have 3 sets by them, 1,3,4.

And WNW has another set of decals for the Albie Fokkers.

There might be more but havent checked for them. As far as I know and I could be wrong only OAW and Albie versions had lozenges.

Got these in the mail today, took advantage of them being 5 bucks on the Two Bobs website. Going to use them on an Academy 1/32 F/A-18C kit that I just pulled back out of the stash.

Jet is from VMFA-122 Werewolves based at MCAS Beaufort in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Thanks for those Pheon decal links James. The Gotha decals do give some more variety. The main problem I have with the light blue Gothas is the translucency isn't there due to the dark grey plastic. I do like several of the planes in the Pheon set and will probably order the Seimens Shuckert DIII set too for my Roland kit (if they still have it) (y)

Few more things came in. The decals are hot off the press and I cant wait to start my T-80BV and put some modern markings on. Also some one piece track for one of my Mk IVs. Should be easier that 7 piece track pads. And I caved in and got a Meng AMX-30B2 which only has marlings for one unit in the first Gulf war.

Simply waiting for the right price. After Christmas, many sell off things at great prices to pay off bills. I help out and get a great deal. As I wrote, everything you see there was at least 70% off. I'm still saving up for the Inside the Armour Shilka detail sets.
