3d printed Spinner.

The tip of the spinner is semi-transparent. The boss on the tip is slightly longer than required due to printer resolution and will need a couple of swipes with a sanding stick. The outer surface has a very slight roughness, I can only feel it when I run my fingernail over it, that needs to be polished out.

Cheers,
Rich

There's an A-4 Skyhawk GB happening on Kiwi Modeller starting in December.... here's my 'raw materials:

Arrived today from HLJ, just $27.00USD INCLUDING postage to New Zealand... :eek:hmy: - Yes I know the Hasegawa kit is very, very good (I've built two of them, but the old Esci kit, now in this Italeri box, was always accurate in outline, a good fit and let's be honest... superb value for money.

I always thought that was a sorta odd aircraft. Seemed undersized for the role it carried but I guess you can fit more on the hanger deck.

Well, it seems there is a delay due to a brain-dead postman which keeps forgetting my packages (one is the CTA2 prize from Bravo-6 and the other my DEF Models order) but I did get this one in:

Anyone want to buy an Eastern European kit cheap? I will toss in the Trumpeter decals too!

Also, Lucky Model informs me that part 2 of my order was shipped.

What about those placards?

Regards,

Oh those are for the M4 High Speed Tractor I got from you

I went through my Archer placards and, sure enough, I have them too! Nice purchases...

These packages came on Wednesday but were registered so the postman did not deliver them until Saturday.

first up, Bravo 6's donation to CTA2. As you can see Vladi considered the item of the fund raiser when he picked this prize! I will NOT be reviewing it (I love dogs and would be tempted not to send it out! Kidding of course)

My order of DEF Model accessories direct form Korea. This is for my Mean Green Machine (an M48A3 in Vietnam which I have been building without sharing online).

Even though the Dragon kit I used has the searchlight included, this one is superior in details with its PE and brass rod (included) additions. The Legends set I bought also has the searchlight but this one (and the Dragon one) are superior. Wheels for the UAZ-469 I was about to build for CTA2 before I decided on the Delta Darts. I will review them anyway.

Some of you may have noticed I went through my AFV Club Tiger II kits and put the surplus in my Garage Sale. Well the ones I kept need goodies so here is one item. The other is for my (non-existent at the moment) F-4 Phantom. The set is designed for Academy's F-4B but I may use them with Hasegawa's (depending on which kit I get cheaper) since I plan to add full aftermarket intake trunking if available.

Really like that old Monogram Bronco. Think I'll be buying a couple of those old pick-ups over the next few months. If memory serves there was a 53 Chevy and a 55 Ford in the range, and a mid-seventies long-bed (as opposed to a stepside), aswell.
Ian.

Saul, how do the DEF wheels compare to the DML ones?

Fantastic enough that they deserve a review. Only downside is that they don't offer an M-103 set since I would get that one instead to have spares for the stowage.

Click2Detail has sets as well but they are steep in price. Lovely detail though!
