Hot Damn!! I really want that Dora gun. I've got the prints to make a correct barrel for it.
A friend of mine in the model club I'm in, has it, and we've been poking back & forth for a couple of years now, that I'm going to buy it from him. If I could come up w/ the cash, I'd do it in a heart beat.

The ... tractor I got a while back ...
I just noticed the tiny box with the tractor on the coffin with the Dora!
Please tell me more about this tractor kit, perhaps a peek inside?

Its very cool. I will try and do a picture review. The M109 isnt what I was wanting. It looks nice though, but it doesnt have an interior.

Well, the first of my presents to myself came!
I have two Dragon and one ESCI BMP-1 kits with AM to get rid of! First I will see what I can use on this kit and sell the rest cheap...
Just an amazing gun, the kit is also nice.
I remember kit bashing a Revell and an Academy kit to get something nice... now I don't have to! This also means I have a Revell kit to sell off dirt cheap but maybe just give it to my son.
The second gift package is supposedly on its way. I ordered one of the Super Specials from Cyber Hobby. They claim Free shipping but the shipping was added at checkout! An email to them was responded that they would take care of it during processing of my order.
In any case, I ordered a second one of these:
I chose a Tamiya M8 Greyhound as the second free kit, plus a book is included in the deal for $66USD. As aforementioned, shipping is free.
Why the second RSO/3? Well the first is to be built as a captured tractor:
This kit gave up its sprockets, with Steyr logo, for my Steyr Waffentraeger since the Magirus built tractor didn't have the logos on it. For this kit, I am using ModelKasten sprockets without the logos.
Then, my recent fascination with ambulances (ad the reason behind my So Others May Live campaign suggestion) led me to find this photo:
The Steyr logos on the doors means it is a Steyr built RSO/2 and the drive sprockets should have the Steyr logo.
So, the second RSO will also give up its drive sprockets for my Steyr Waffentraeger so all four are identical and this kit will receive the Tank Model drive sprockets with logo as seen here:
Wow, I am long winded. I didn't even tell you about the Columbian M8 Greyhound with Maxon M-55 turret!

Got this little goodie in the mail today. I won it as part of a Christmas give away on the Aircraft Resource Center webforum. My first acquisition in quite awhile. I've obtained very few new models this year. Got another one coming after Christmas from another give away that I won on ARC. I'll post it up when that one shows up.
Hasegawa 1/48 J-35 F/J Draken. Also came w/ TwoBobs decals "Red Dragons" and TwoMikes Intake covers. Going to do this one up as the red scheme thats visible on the decal sheet. Be real nice, it was a short temp scheme, so I wont have to worry about doing much if any weathering on it.
And I picked this up a a local discount store (Ollies Discount Warehouse) in their book section. Its a very interesting book, its full of 3 & 4 view line drawings of WWII US AFV's. I've thought about cutting the spine off the book so that I could scan all the pages, and then use them to create 3D models of each of the vehicles, just to practice creating things like these. I only paid 4 bucks for the book, so I wouldnt be heartbroken by cutting it apart.
