Italeri, Western Star 5964 Constellation w/trailer

My back is getting better so i managed to do a little work on the truck today :)
Moved the bench to the livingroom table and watched discovery and glued plastic.
One side is almost ready so tomorrow i turn it around and make the other side :silly:

First off, Congratulations on the boy! Yes, I am quite late with that statement.

Great idea for the candy hauler.

Regards,

Nice looking Star Car Matts, that's what we truckers here call them. Also congratulations on the new addition. I wonder if he will be born with a silver airbrush in his hands?

Lookin' Great Mats,

What part of Belgium are you from. Are you Flemish or French?

Just curious!

Bob

Hi Bob
I live in the flemish part (flemish-brabant, vlaams-brabant) but just on the border to vallonie (the french speaking part) so it's a mix of both, i can't speak french so it's dutch or english (or swedish sometimes to).

Thanks for the congratulations :) i think he will check out the hospital for things he can use for building my models! ;)
It would be so nice if he in a couple of years take up the hobby to, but that will be he's choice then :coolio

Just curious, we had a little apartment in Lier near Antwerp for many years. (1985 to 1996). We were shuttling back and forth to our house in the states. We always preferred the Flemish part of Belgium, even though I speak French and not Flemish. I spent three and a half years living in Verdun France from 1959 to 1962. I learned my French there and then, and learned German in university. Swedish looks like Chinese to me!

Just wanna show you a pic of the finnished truck, on display in our room at the hospital.
