Italeri, Western Star 5964 Constellation w/trailer

Started this one a couple of weeks ago to get some new "mojo" in the building

No pics of the first steps, but here is where i am right now:

The trailer is very massive and heavy, that's good for what we have planned for it

The driver comes from a accessorie set from Italeri and is a nice complement to the truck (though the haircut and sandals are a little odd) not sure who would accept the quality of this kit if it was a 1/35 vehicle.... :geek

Got some Tamiya TS 89 Pearl blue sprayed on the cabin

Long time since i did something on this, and i just have 2 months to finnish it now so i better start! :smack
The Chrome parts are stripped of chrome and will be painted instead alclad or tamiya rattle cans.

Done all the wheels today (16 in total)

Cabin not glued on, must mount it on a base first for easy transportation

It´s a part of the stash, the dragon figure sets.....
The truck must be ready when our son is born, end june if you remember i built another truck last year but that ended up a little different
This time everything is going fine so we are both looking forward to the new modelling generation

It will be loaded up with sugar candy and jelly bears , taking it with to the hospital and it will have he's name on the trailer then (a secret for now) and the friends that comes visiting get a box of candy, that's how it's done here in Belgium (not sure if anyone used a truck before though....)

Got the truck mounted on the plank.

Not the best pic, the trailer is done so now all i need to do is the shiny stuff on the truck.
