this picture I'm putting up as you can really see the body modifications with a stock body behind

Customs are cars that have had the body modified to be different from what stock production. In a sense to change the look and make the car look more sleek. The cars body is usually changed by taking metal from the post that hold up the roof, called chopping or chopped. Other things one might see with a custom is removing of the side trim, handles and emblems from the body, rounding of the corners of the hoods, doors, trunk openings, lowering the suspension, frenching the head and tail lights (basically putting the lights behind the body sheet metal, putting on body trim from a different car, or grill or fenders, etc. The list is endless.

What is the difference between "stock" "Hot Rod" and "Custom" the easiest way is to show it in pictures I will be using some 1939 Mercury Coupes;

Any questions? :coolio

Would muscle cars be welcome also? I am all in for this one. Something different and a break from planes.

I'm not doing Nascar that's for sure. I got that ol' Tbucket kit, I can build something out of it.
