Hello All;

Hi Everyone;

I just saw this site the other day, and after my approval, I thought I'd stop in and say hi.
My name is Pat Johnston, and some of you may know me from various other sites. I've built armor models for many years, and nowadays I am a 48th scale fan, and I have a terminal case of Sherma-Holism.
This looks to be a fun site, and I hope to be able to contribute in the future.

Cheers, Pat

Welcome Pat! I think you will be able to get your fix here.

I recognized the name and, sure enough, with a little searching I found your galleries. C'mon, start one here too!

A Vietnam build is gearing up and no one has done a French M4A1 mid production as used in Indo-China.
:cheer:

Regards,

Hi Saul (and everyone);

Thank you for the warm welcome. If you've looked at anything I've built lately, I think my Sherma-Holism has entered a terminal phase, but I couldn't be happier.

I actually built a KenGi all-resin M24 Chaffee last year, and I was very tempted to finish it as a French tank at Dien Bien Phu, especially after watching "Tank Overhaul" on the TV, and seeing the rusted hulk of an M24 still sitting in a farmer's field in that area.

If anyone wants to see yet more Shermans, I've built several, with many many more still to do.

Cheers, Pat

:) Hiya Pat :)

We are so glad you joined us , we have some big sherman fans here so you are in good company ! :) Most of the rest of just love all tanks , there is some air traffic but we give them a little friendly fire too :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Hi there Pat.

Looking forward to seeing some of your work. I build 1/35 armour and don't consider myself a Shermaholic yet but, looking at my stash of unbuilt post-WW2 Israeli Shermans, I might be headed that way.

Welcome aboard.

Cheers from Peter

Welcome Pat... :Hiay

Yes, unfortunately Shermanitis is an incurable condition. Just prey you don't also catch Tigeritis from the axis fans here. :laugh:

Yes Tigeritis can become a Pantherdemic , like "Foot in Maus" disease :silly: .

Hi there Pat.

Welcome to T&T. And if you can take your foot out of your Maus long enough, you will realise that scale has nothing to do with nothing around here. So just cruise around the place and check out all the cool things that we do here. And maybe consider sharing some of what you do with us all. Mabe even join one of the Group Builds we have going on around here all the time.
