No sir, unfortunately not.Yes, why Eduard, why?
I do wonder if the door opened when hydraulics were turned off and the system pressure dropped. Like on the Mustang.
Well, I'll be closing that door up again.

Yeah, it helps with the carrier landings. Bit of a headache when it gets out of phase in turbulence though. What a neat idea, spring mounted cockpit. Comfy ride.![]()
Thanks! There's just something I find cool about it, even more so than the F-86.Your doing a great job on one of my favorite airplanes!! Gary S.
I think it's those wing tip tanks that puts it on top. Apparently they added better aerodynamics to the wing. Gary S.Thanks! There's just something I find cool about it, even more so than the F-86.
You know, I was going by the size of the barrels that I removed without thinking to check if they were in scale themselves. I can't find the outer diameter of the AN/M2 20mm barrel, but 20mm in 1/72 is .27mm. The tubes I had in were .9mm, so yes, those will be too big. I have .5mm on hand, so I'll use those. I also see now that the kit had them sticking out way too far.Nice save!
What size tubing? They look a little big.
Not that a nose full of big cannon is a bad thing.![]()
