For the aspiring sculptors/figure converters

For the aspiring (and experienced) figure sculptors and figure converters:

I came across Tom Meier's blog some time ago, when he didn't update frequently. It appears he's being actively, and unnoticed, updated recently though. For those of you who don't know, Tom currently does a lot of small scale and fantasy sculpts.

Of particular interest though, if you're not interested in small scale or fantasy, are his recent posts on proportion and sculpting. Have a read with an open mind, look past the specific subjects, think about how these principles can be applied to your own genre and scale, but mostly, just enjoy reading his blog - it's pretty humorous :)

He's got a heck of an imagination. That looks like a fun blog to follow. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Rudi, that's an amazing resource. Those 1/48 French and Indian War figures are extremely nice for the small scale. I bought two of his 1/32 Napoleonic caricatures and was really impressed by the detail and low price.

You're welcome, chaps.

Wendy, a friend from HF and pF, has a set of the French/Indian war figures - apparently they are exceptional.
