Hoping everyone who is in this extreme cold weather is staying warm. I am in Minooka,IL right now. The winds were gusting to 45 MPH earlier, making it well below 0 F .

I didn't know that you are that smal Luiz! :rotf

I feel sorry for you poor fellers, either freezing with your hair blown straight back or frying beside half naked beauties.
It's rather toasty here, in +4C (39F American), no wind. So much for ice-fishing until the slush freezes. I may as well just model on. :D (y)

Nice and warm here in Australia,no snow gentle breeze an lot's of half naked hotties (advantage of living on the beach) :D

It appears I managed to bring the cold & snowy weather from Indy down to NC. Was freezing my backside off on Thursday, and now its happening hear, and getting snow tomorrow. But it looks like I'll get some bench time today, so I'll just drag my electric heater over to my desk and keep my toes warm that way.

It's been in the 80's (F) here in Southern California. Air conditioner has been kicking on. Been having a tough time airbrushing since I need to open my window to vent.

When I was in Indianapolis on Wednesday & Thursday, that was a problem there. It was an almost constant 25-30mph wind. Definitely made the flight out of Indy a bit bumpy.

I am glad the winds died down overnight. They were gusting to 45 mph in Illinois yesterday. :S

Hit a balmy +1[sup]o[/sup]C (34[sup]o[/sup]F) today. Back to reality for the week, highs -10[sup]o[/sup] to -15[sup]o[/sup]C, overnights -20[sup]o[/sup] to -25[sup]0[/sup]C.

Cheers,
Rich

Just looked at the forecast for this week since we're supposed to get hit w/ quite a bit of ice & snow tomorrow, and noticed that Wednesday morning, its going to hit a balmy 3°.

Well I don't understand ..... the weather but at least Ya'll are staying on temp cold ..... Toady 78 tomorrow 28 ..... now these drops are very fast here on the plains area ..... but the ground hog bite the guy so I'm not sure what that means .... except that spring is just around the corner in Texas ......... :fencing

Staying warm for sure, but very busy.I work for the gas utility and cold weather drives up our workload. We service the gas heaters that break during this bad weather, and it becomes a matter of life and property when it goes down to zero. Also with the ground freezing it cracks the underground gas mains causing an increase in underground leaks. Our office is in charge of coordinating all this extra work.12-16 hours have been the norm this whole month.

Good money-but no bench time either.

Well we had a back draft into winter ..... yesterday cold with freezing rain & sleet ..... today just colder lots of (Black) Ice on the highways ..... tomorrow another front with snow .... My new puppy loves it She's never seen sleet .... running around slippin & sliding .... :ro: :dude
