Greetings Jeff;
Nice looking BF-109 ......... you did a greet job on
her......

.........Verry Impressive.
I have a suggestion for your canopy. When ever I want to display
one of my a/c with the canopy open, this is how I do it. Instead
of relaying on that thin piece of PE.
For example, your 109 canopy..... use a small paint brush and put
a thin line of Liquitape on the side of the canopy, that will be
hinged.
..... After the Liquitape dries it will hold the canopy securely
open at the angle that you want. The if you wish, for authenticity
you may install that thin piece of PE.
For those that build for competition. You can leave the canopy
closed, to keep out the dust. Then later, for display purposes,
pull the canopy of and put it back in the open poison.
You can use Liquitape to put together sub-asemblies... to check
for fit. The at a latter date take the pieces back apart. Clean
up is with water. If the parts have together for a long time, may
need to use isoproal alcohol.
