Did someone say Iwo Jima Sherman?

I built this for a Tamiya Sherman challenge elsewhere. The idea was to use a venerable Tamiya Sherman and it's tracks. Here's my take.





Everything is scratchbuilt including the wading trunks.







Primer.



Base OD. I used Tamiya OD cut with Desert Yellow.



Camo. Vallejo Acrylic that I brushed on.



Beginnings of weathering and Bison Decals.

Applejack is finished! I weathered her with oils enamels and a mix of pastels. I wanted to replicate the gray pumice dust that covered the island.











Not bad for an old kit.
