D Day 2013 Current Count 11

Hey guys - never worry about perfect straight lines on invasion stripes on aircraft ever again!!!!

Dave I think Yeager missed out on the D-Day window because he was shot down and was able to return to England but they would not let those guys fly over German held territory because they had been in contact with the Underground and could compromise them. He didn't start flying combat until after the invasion though i'm not sure how soon after.

Bud Anderson on the other hand.. think it's safe to say he was there. I ~think~ he was flying a B model on D-Day

Damn I am not a big Invasion stripe fan so that is the only ones I have.
I do really admire the man

Oh you got the D model Old Crow?

Check with Paul, this is his puppy anyway, he may know more about the subject that I.

Would NMF P-51D Old crow or Glamorous Glennis be acceptable?
Only if the old crow is a B model Dave but you may get away with a C. If you have a Early D you can do Hurry home honey Pete Peterson's plane before he flew Little Petie. You can also do Louie II or most any of the Bodney birds.
