My fix on the non spinning props worked well, used the light sewing machine oil on the back of the prop shafts again
stopping the Ca glue from creeping into the engine shaft hole.

Tyres are still too shiny, will dust them up some more

This is my third Classic Airframes build - and the most difficult, but I would buy more if they ever start making kits again,
to date I don't think a B.P. Defiant, Westland Whirlwind, or a better Do17 is made in 1/48th.

Hope you all enjoy my rare bird.

Great finish Phil, nice subtle weathering, good job all around.

Congratulations on a well done model :drinks

Phil,
It's a really perfectly made model - every single detail impresses with precision and clarity of execution. :notworthy (y) :notworthy (y)

But there is a surprising diathesis (which fortunately it is easy to remove), tell me what you tempted to scratch the exhausts tip? Look at the exhaust of any car - you will know what I am talking about ;)

Excellent workmanship and a very 'handsome' model at the end of it all. Well done.

Ian

Some more Matt black added to the exhaust tips now, I didn't really take much notice, could of rubbed some black paint off while fitting these, I paint ''metal'' parts silver before main painting.

Cheers!

Thanks Terry, Sharkman and William,

this is the third CA kit I've built, the toughest yet! other two were the Westland Whirlwind and B.P. Defiant, did them both in the early ''day'' camo half black half sky underneath.
