Regards,

Thanks Saul. I have that set but have not yet taken the time to dig it out and look at it.

My biggest groan  was directed towards the details of the interior or rather the lack of.

They are rather prominent but looking at pictures has not revealed all as much detail as I would like.

I was looking for replacement cannons today but had no luck .

I'll also look for replacement props in my JU 88/188 stash soon.

Cheers, Christian B)

Strangely enough, I have really enjoyed building so far. No foul words were necessary but one thing I have noticed for sure about this kit is that all the parts nearly fit . :rotf

Hope I got everybody . Cheers, Christian B)

Oh crap! I forgot to get your bag of goodies to you, will get it out the door today Chris, no fail, I'll give it over to Cindy! :rotf

After being out of town for a week, I'm finally back at the much misted bench :yipee ]

I have at long last got all the sections closed off to keep the building dust from floating around inside the hull.

I proceeded by making a new Instrument panel and throttle quadrant since the kit one didn't fit anyway.

added some ribs and longerons .

checked the fit.

New transparencies have been soaked and are now curing .

AM guns are coming from Cal.

Thanks James , Bob , Garry , Terry . :D Can't remember last time I had this much fun with an iffy kit :smack

Probably before I discovered Hasegawa :rotf

Looking good so far. Are you saying Hasegawa kits are iffy :rotf If you are I will agree with you there.

Actually no . The early Hasegawa ( before were not scribed lines ) were not that good. :idonno

The modern ones are considerably better but definitely not a match for Tamiya .

However , all the above are light years ahead of this ancient Super Model kit :facepalm

Cheers, Christian B)

Ah ok. I've just got a bad taste for Hasegawa stuff because of all the sanding and putty work this dang P-40 is taking that I am working on :bang head But you sure are making this old beastie look nice with the scratchbuilding.
