Buying more while stuck at home?

Anyone else making more online purchases these days while isolated??

I bought a few auto kits, circle cutter and a plane and found myself buying a few more this weekend. I guess it's ok, no where else to spend my allowance at the moment!

Have to stop surfing Ebay and model sites!

Unfortunately. but that will have to stop. Have a Sopwith Baby and a Bf 108 coming. Then to behave :)

I ordered a new swing arm lamp. I'm building a 1/43 Model Factory Hiro kit. It has about 350 parts that go in a model 3 1/2 inches long and I need more overhead light to get rid of the shadows.

Model Factory Hiro is a Japanese company that makes high end multi media race car kits. They are extremely detailed and very pricey. Some of their 1/12 scale kits run $500 - $600, but nearly every part of the real car is duplicated in miniature including the internals of the engine, transmission, rear end, etc. The kit that I'm building is not that detailed, but it does include a complete tube chassis, engine, cockpit, and each wire wheel has 11 PE and turned aluminum parts.

Rob we need some pictures! These sound awesome!:nopics:

Warren I ordered some decals and masking from the Ukraine for my 1/32 Sukhoi 27B I want to do it up in Ukrainian digital blue scheme. The WNW kits were "Get 'em or Regret 'em". Something says they are not going to be totally gone, but could be gone for a while and might not be the same or could be worse.

I've restrained myself for the most part.....so far.

That doesn't stop me from looking though.

I've only been doing some purchases for glues and paints at Brookhurst Hobbies. I did place a couple models in my Hobbylink Japan warehouse, but haven't pulled the trigger on shipping yet.

I've been supporting the hobby as best I can...still getting paid so it's all good so far ;)

Like Mark, I have a few waiting at HLJ...since the slow mail service isn't available yet, it's on hold because I don't want to spend the exorbitant amount for the faster service they ARE offering...

I did make a run out to the LHS before they forced the "non-essential" businesses to close temporarily and ended up grabbing a couple gundam kits for something completely different along with a '65 Honda F1 they had on the shelf.

I need to make a paint run to my local hobby shop. I don't need any kits, but I do buy up a fair amount of paint as I need it.

I've bought more kits and modeling stuff in the past 6 weeks that the last 6 years I think.

I single handedly stimulated a couple of economies, especially NH's Scalehobbyist and TX's Half Price Books.
