I like the colouring of the groundwork,it sreams out Sahara sand!
Please tell us what colors[or maybe pigments] did you use for the groundwork.

Ron,

the groundwork is actually sand mixed into some celluclay and white glue. Then, with an old brush I scrub in a mix of Vallejo pigments, about 50/50 'light slate grey' and 'light yellow ocre'.
