Thank you so much guys...

I am still quite shocked that everything fit with some minor defects only.

I got the painting done, it still Looks like a toy but the weathering should take care of that.

It is supposed to be a VERY weathered aircraft, in the middle of the BoB.

Anyhow, I am proud of myself. And enjoying this challenge. I will soon start on the second one (QJ-G).

Hi there

So after much delay I have finished both Spitfires and here are the pics. The paint is still too thick I am working on that. Of course this Level of Detail has to be really zoomed in and for a 1/72 the thickness of the plastic will also Show. Therefore concentrate on the "big Picture!"

Both planes are finished, QJ-K and QJ-G. I think the latter turned out better, specially the flaps. Still it was a LOT of Resin work.


This is a BOB Diorama I am still working on, there will be another "open" Hurricane and a more Crew/pilots. When it gets done I will create a Topic in Dioramas.
