Bf 109-g-6

I never made it close to the bench this weekend, looking forward to seeing someone's progress.

It's not much progress but progress just the same.

I got a 1.mm tube stuck up in the stabilizer to have a positive attachment point for the rudder hinges. They are .8mm

I've gone back and forth over the mottling to get it cleaned up, really aggravating trying to keep Vallejo flowing.

Will be putting the control surfaces on, the slats will be extended slightly,I understand they were spring loaded and were always deployed while on the ground with no airflow going over them. Check me if I'm wrong. :v

I'm going to seal it up, put the stickers on and start some post fading with Tamyia Buff unless someone has a better suggestion. :D

Looking good Bob. Watching with interest. Man but every time I see this i want to do a 109. Havent built one in forever it seems.

This is all leading up to the one you sent me James so like...it's your fault. :smack :rotf :rotf

Would you consider using a lighter mix of the tones you've already used... I only started using that technique in the last couple of years, just a thought.

Ian.

I like that a lot!!!! Have you tried Bombshell Brew acrylics? Even though I'm still a novice with acrylics, I've had good luck with it. At $1.69 a bottle you have no great loss if you dont like it.

I would Ian if I could get the junk to spray consistently. Tired of battling Vallejo.

Fine looking bird if you ask me.

Vallejo - no problems with it, other than the white. No matter how much I tried and what, it's still spraying noodles, stupid cow of a thing. Desert yellow works well if diluted, all other paints no issues.

The primers are fine too - except for, again, the white. This time around it looks too watery to me. Black and grey are perfect.
