Much better Thanks Dave! REhab is helping get my strength back where I can actually enjoy being out of work for a change. Pain is all but gone but still don't mind a nap about mid afternoon. :eek:ldguy

Thanks Ian, I got a set for 1:32 and 1:72 as well. I really got the Kagero book for the P-47-d-22 Kansas TornadoII Razorback scheme. Will be doing that one in 1:32. I was thinking of doing Jeanie scheme but I got a sister-in-law named Jeanie and well... :frantic

Tested some NMF what you think?

Tear-drop/Lockheed tank looks right to me, the flat P-47 tank is good too.

Remember - as if you needed reminding - let that glossy black fully dry & cure before you apply the lacquer. We're all pulling for you, boss, now git it done (but not too quickly (y) ).

Which Lockheed tank? Two different colors.

The flat tank is Humbrol 27002. did it yesterday, Dave (No Ian I'm not calling you Dave, :tomato ) I tried buffering it but didn't get any better shine on it. I've seen the buffering action on the Gunmetel Metalcote but not seeing it here.

Dave suggested I try the Humbrols, I've had good luck with the Gunmetal but this one, 27002 just not buffing.

If I recall correctly, those contour tanks were only used for ferrying missions?
