alrighty folks i am moving right along with my b-24 build, 1/72, oob, yep moving quick.

so i got to thinking about what is coming. our club is looking to take baby steps to grow and to show who we are. with that we are talking about setting up tables at car shows in the area this spring and summer. with that in mind i am thinking a couple of auto builds are in order to try to get some additional stuff to show.

i am going to enlist some aid here. i am torn as to what to do after the -24. so i am going to throw out seven kits. all are in my mind for different reasons. help me to decide. what do i do after the -24?

monogram 1957 nomad-- i am thinking lots of chrome and gloss on this one. built oob but as a hot rod magazine type of car.
revell 79 comaro z-28-- i am thinking done as a fixer upper type of build. some gloss, some chrome, some rust, some faded.
revell 30 woody-- i am thinking dropped and chopped. enough said.

and a few of my favorite things.

amt classic 1966 mustang-- got to be classic type of build.
revell shelby gt 350r mustang-- what else can i say about that one.
revell 65 mustang 2 + 2 fastback-- "motor city muscle" kit. gloss and chrome.
revell 65 mustang 2 + 2 fastback-- "40th anniversary" kit. gloss and chrome.

well the time is now. weigh in on what i should do. now no way i am going to rust out or ding up the stangs, not going to happen.

to help here is a visual aid.

I think any of those would be great for getting interest at car shows! I'd say pick the one that interests you the most, and then go from there.

Nomad... I think this may be the same one I built (and painted pink) which came in a Revell box.

That's just wrong to do to a Nomad. My BiL had one in the early 70s. Fun car to ride in, went to the beach with him in it. He ran into the back of a new Toyota, totaled the Toyota, scratched the fender of the Nomad.. :rotf

my nomad will never be pink. it would be like wanting to rust one of the stangs. sends shivers up my spine just thinking of it. a glossy red for the nomad. no question.

love hearing the responses though. like i said they are all calling for me.

If it was me I'd build one of the 1965 Mustang Fastbacks. Go with Rangoon Red instead or Candy Apple red and a nice black interior. But then I am a sucker for Mustangs since I am a happy owner of one lol.
