Dragged what is hopefully the last bit of firewood out of the back woods today which means I can now put the plow on the tractor...hopefully I won't need to plow much again this year...we'll see!

I got up at 3 am,and went to Best Buy. The crowds were pretty much gone at that time. I bought two new laptops,and a new digital camera.

I am home from the road until the 27th. :woohoo:

So, what you gone build now? :yipee

I am going to finish up my 1/48 Stalin tank. Then get some more work done on my M41 zombie slayer.

Today we celebrate Thanksgiving at my house. Due to all the conflicting work schedules we always wait for Sunday. I'm gonna eat and eat!

I believe that I have complained in this thread about the hopelessness felt being unemployed.
To balance things, I think that I need to tell you about the joy of finding a job as well!
I went to an interview last week, and felt that they wheren't to interested. But....
...today they rang and wanted me to start on Friday, or possibly next week! Feels great!

I've spent my morning trying to get back into the swing of things, and remembering which projects I was working on before my vacation. I have a hard enough time remembering what I was working on when I just have the regular weekend off, but being off for a full week really made it hard, haha.

At least I'm not hungry. And even if its not anything special, I really feel happy about getting a real job again.
And in these times, you have no chance to be picky. It's help desk work, so at least it won't be the same every day, and the pay is decent.
But most of all, it is a pay check every month, and it will make getting the bills paid on time a lot easier!
