All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

Fantastic to 'see' you Ron, I have that kit too, plus all the 'stuff' to go into it. Was going to use it as part of a diorama sometime.

Pre-shaded and first paint - all Tamiya acrylics mixed by the ol' Mk.I eyeball method !!

Been a real hit and miss the last couple months or more like the last year at my bench

But could not sleep this morning so I messed around some,

made a couple sanding sticks with 120 grit

Worked a little on this '26 Mack AC, trying to get the leaf springs to look a little better

And made some parts for the base of the bed

Have a good weekend everyone. I'll be doing the vampire thing next three days

More 'Klear / Future' then panels accented with Flory Wash (Dark Dirt & Grime). Also 'oiled' the underside with Paynes Grey, Burned Sienna & Raw Umber (all Windsor & Newton), using the 'oil-dot method'. Exhaust plume using Tamiya 'Smoke' (love that stuff).

Hobbyboss's very fine (IMO) Mirage IIICZ, I'll be using the kit decals and Tamiya acrylics. Mask, spray mask again, same way as I painted the Esci / Italeri Mirage IIIO I did a couple of years back.

Our tame Sith Efrikaan has been given a 'heads up' message :v

Decals occured this afternoon:

They do 'shout a bit' at the moment, but they'll calm down once they're weathered and blended in to the paintwork.

The tame Soof Efrican approves :drinks

I agree with Dave, Jeaton wins the cutest bench award! What darling little ones!

I'm also doing a South African Mirage; mine is in bare metal finish though. Yours is really looking great Ian! Bring it on my friend!
