All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

Working on my EU-135 helicopter, and its rapidly approaching the point where I find out just how well it flies before hitting the wall. The fit on this thing is horrid. Having to grind, cut & sand like crazy to attempt to get the interior to fit into the fuselage. The interior appears to be 1/16" wider than the fuselage.

:eek:hmy: :bang head :bang head :frantic That really bites!!

Thanks for the compliments on my work guys! I appreciate it.

Adam, hang in there. That helo can't be as bad as the Maquette Ka-60 that I built some time back.. The thing had so much flash and warpage that I had to twist and pry things apart to get some inside parts to fit. Then when it was assembled, I had to carve and sand the helicopter out of the block of plastic I'd just beaten into submission. Compared to what I had; you have it easy. You can do this, I have faith in you.

I have a Mess on My bench this morning I had to stop and organize the builds ..... found I've mis-placed one of the Russian tractor's road wheels spent most of the day looking for it ..... tools on the right partial builds on the Left is what I found this morning ..... :eek:ldguy

Not a whole lot going on in the studio. Just couldn't get my mind right while going through the process of being allowed to use a psychiatric service dog at work. I can't take any of the narcotic anxiety medicine at work and the only other medicine doesn't work. The nurse practitioner at our health clinic is basically writing me a prescription for a service dog. Pretty cool huh. I'm learning to not be so anxious through the process. Someone has to be the pathfinder and it might as well be me.

I did get the old 4' tall section of wire fencing taken down and replaced with new 5' fencing with a 1 1/2" PVC frame that slips over the old T-post. This is where Mac was escaping every morning and then Rommel would bark and tattle on him. Before I got finished with the project, Mac was pouting in the house because he knew I had found his spot.

Hey Kenny, you know that metal edging stuff you can get for flower beds? I used it at the base of the fence to keep them from pushing it out, might want to think of if because of my pound mutts could figure out that escape route I know your boys can.

That escape route has be taken care of. :D We fostered a little pit mix and she would go under the fence.
