Thank you so much Ian, good to be back, missed MA and all the fantastic people and builds around here :D

Bentley was fantastic I must admit - sadly no longer in British hands but a wonderful piece nevertheless (y)

Congrats, weary travelers!

Me? I'm sitting at home for the third day. Found out yesterday that my tortured gut was not caused by a virus, but by diverticulitis, a nasty form of intestinal bacterial infection. Glad I went to the doc when I did- this can put you in the hospital. Ten days of antibiotics, another day of liquid diet, then ramping back up to real food. Yuck. Like I said, nasty.

Seen that too many times, listen to the Doc and get it flushed out Chuck, sending you :zen :zen :zen :zen :zen

WOLFIE: Congrats! I got hitched in July.... May you live as long as you love and may you love as long as you live!

Chuck: :facepalm That is terrible... Take care and do what the Doc says... If he says DO NOT EAT>>>>> don't do it. You do not want to spend 10 days in the Hospital, eating what passes for nutrition... that is unless you want to shed 10 pounds in time for bikini season next year...

Chuck, I'm sorry to hear that. Glad to know that you caught it early. Take care of yourself, I want to see you in Temecula in October.

All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

I'm getting ready for this tomorrow http://www.cascadeairshow.com/
It is also the Grand opening for the Erickson Air Collection. So there will be a B-17, 2 B-25s, P-38, P-47, P-51, Grumman Wildcat, Dauntless, Avenger, A-26, T-33, Pby Catalina, Fw 190, Ki 43, as well as many others. Should be a great weekend :yipee :yipee :yipee

Oh and Chuckie the B-17 has recieved a new paintjob. It is dedicated to the B-17 crews that trained at the Madras Air Base where the new museum is housed. I actually really like it. Soe people have said it is distasteful. But I am guessing they haven't seen some of the artwork done during WWII or Vietnam for that matter.

After six years I finally got off my butt and put laminate floors in here as well as organizing it a lot more. I also ditched a lot of random crap that was in here:

I also finally have everything in drawers and even broke out the label maker:

You can't read it in the pic but one of drawers is labeled "Acme Sprue Stretcher". It's just a lighter and a candle...

Oh I plan on it Bob. Seems most of the people that are saying it is distasteful are complaining that it didn't stay in the markings of Chuckie. Anybody need any closeup photos of anything. Of planes I mean :rotf :rotf :yipee

All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Well Sarah and I just got back from the Airshow of the Cascades and grand opening of the new Erickson Air Collection museum. Overall it was a great time. I took about 300 photos and Sarah took about the same. I am currently going through them and will post a some of them as well as a link to all of them. All I can say is watching a P-51 dogfight with an Fw 190 is something I thought I would never see. The Butcher bird is a reproduction but still was an awesome sight. :yipee :yipee :yipee :yipee
