All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Well started my second week of work today. Had to do training yet again. Why they insist on making me do a training when nothing has changed from the year before is beyond me. Brought a model to work on this time. Was going to do a 1/35 Trumpeter Kv-1 for the second chance campaign. But realized I left the camera at home :facepalm Oh well will start on it anyways and just build it without the campaign.

Made it a Goodguys show in Loveland on Saturday :yipee

Been up for 24 hours +. Those PTSD demons have a way of popping up at the strangest times... I am now off to find a tailor to modify my soon to be stepdaughter's dress for the wedding, twinkle lights for the sweetie's bathroom (don't ask, I thought she was a sensible girl) water the new grass in the backyard, and check out a couple of places and get some glue.

And for those of you who are keeping track, 32 days 3.5 hours until my life as I know it comes to an end. :yipee

I water grass in back yard often, just when no one is looking. Easier than going back in the house.... :woohoo:

I did what I never do... went to a model club meeting.

I was corresponding with Bill Auerbach (Panzerwrecks) when he sends me a flier at 12:02 AM. He was going to attend the Scale Model Enthusiasts meeting which occurs every second Tuesday at a VFW Post in New Jersey about 25 minutes drive.

Well, I went straight from work and some were surprised to see me such as Bill, Georg Eyerman (Decalcomaniacs), and Neil Stokes (author of the KV book and soon to publish the IS book through Air Connection). We had a nice photo presentation of one of the members who went to the 70th anniversary of D-Day and visited all the beaches and museums. I may attend next month. No photos as I did not have a camera with me nor did I bring anything to show.

Had to get up at 1 AM to run a load from West Jefferson,OH to Hagerstown,MD. :blink After I delivered the load,I had to do the mandatory DOT 30 minute break. Had some chipped beef over fried potatoes and a Mtn Dew. :good: Then drove to Lancaster PA for my new load going to MI. When I stopped for the day,it was just under a 13 hour day.

I can be on for 14 hours. Had another Mtn Dew,and read some. Then went and had supper. A long day.A safe day. And great food. :good: :v

....what am I doing today ??? - Seriously considering building an Arc. Been (tropical) raining here for four days & nights straight. Huge front arrived over NZ on Sunday evening and decided to stay awhile !!

Good job I work from home through the week, otherwise I'd be needing a kayak to get out of the village. Saturday is going to be fun, delivering the (rural) post. Most of the mailboxes around here are (by definition) up country lanes and goat-tracks !!

Got my bags packed and hitting the road for work. Up to Alcoa Tenn, just south of Knoxville. We got anyone up there? I may have some down time Sunday, to far to drive back home cause I have to be there on Monday when they fire back up.

Raining cats and dogs here today. Shutting down my job site for the day so I might actually get some bench time in. That hasn't happened for over a month.

Another warm and sunny day here in So Cal. I'm heading out to go open the hall for Hobby Day, set up the tables for tomorrow and then spend the day building models with my friends.

The usual... Stopped at a yard sale and picked up a Monogram P-80 and Revell P-47 for $2 each...

Reseeded the back yard and picked up birthday presents for the sweetie!
