Spent the day with my Mom during her knee replacement surgery. All went well and now comes recovery.

Hope that works out well for her Terry . Might be a good thing but it certainly doesn't look like any fun .

Cheers, Christian B)

Congrats Jeeves and Chris. May you have many more years with your spouses. Couple of weeks ago my wife and I had our 32 anniversary.

Congrats Jeeves! This July 14th will be 23 years with mine; a first marriage for both of us. We first went out on July the 3rd so we did have fireworks on our first date! :blink (y) :yipee

Been watching some Twilight Zone on Sci Fi. Put together some T-34 tracks. Got family coming over later for a cookout. Then taking some nieces and nephews to see Man of Steel.

Shopping! And pretending to clean. But since I'm a bachelor I have no reason to pretend that I'm not really doing anything! Oh scored a mixed 6 pack of Blenheim today- for those that don't know it's one of the south's best kept secrets.

Just dropped my wife off at work, so from now till 9:30, its all modeling. Working on my FMTV kit, hoping I can make that last push and finally get all the construction finished up.

Got home from work and had a small cat nap. Started modeling and immediately hand went numb. I guess its surfing the web for me for the rest of the day :(

All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Just finished up my work week. Been a long tiring week, but we found several projectile points that date back 8,000 years. Also just found out I was specially requested to help record a Chinese mining cabin on the very north end of the forest. Guess somebody must like my work lol. As for this weekend it will be a nice lazy weekend of lounging. Might try to do some building as well.

All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Going back to Hobby Day today to hopefully get some more modeling done for the first time in over a month. Then tomorrow, I spend the day with my wife to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary.

All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

Got to check out a Hobby Town down in Charlotte I'd never been to before, and unfortunately I have to say that I probably wont ever be going back. Definitely very very lacking in model related items. They had a pretty decent selection of paints, but that was it. Model selection was about as poor as I've ever seen at any Hobby Town.
