For quick stuff I use an ancient photo viewing program called Firehand Ember. It was made by a fellow in Tulsa OK back in the 90's and works the best I have found for looking through batches of photos. It also has a feature that when you double click on a photo it enlarges it and has some basic editing tools that can do most of the quick stuff like tweaking your type written page. Too bad the guy passed on, but I have maintained my copies of the software and it keeps working so I keep using it.
