A Pair of Dreidecker.

This is all dry fitted in this photo. It's all glued in now and I'm contemplating rigging all the way back to the tailplane.

I used various decals for the wood grain, looks weird in these photos, guess the camera is picking up the pixelation of the print out. Should have used oils like I aways do.
And I'm still unsure exactly which aircraft I'm doing at this point.

Looking good Bob, agree i am not sure about the wood decals but then those on the inside will never be seen, i know thats not the point....

Well I scrapped off the decals. Don't think I'll try that again. Took me less time to slap some oils over a tamiya dark yellow base than it did to cut out the decals and get them fitted in place.

And you're right Paddy,
It'll never be seen again.

working out the underside color. Many say RLM65 is a good match. I only have one sample of such color, AKs.

Hobby Lobby seems to be clearing out their oil colors and have dumped Vallejo brand completely. I picked up a couple of tubes of oils to mess around with. Seeing how there's no consensus on what the color was who's to say what it was. Again, just playing with this just yet.

Still all dryfitted, I think I'm ready to seal up the fuselage and start painting. Painting will be pretty much done before assembly even starts.
