3D Printing and Blender files

You can look at photos all day long but you won't get a sense of how big this printer is until you see it in person. My previous printer was the Phrozen Mega 8K. The plate and vat on this are at least triple the size.

I am glad I ordered several bottles of resin. I am looking forward to printing my first model. It may take some study before that happens!

I also reduce the number of support posts by using one post and have mutiple attachment point clones from the one head instead of one post per attachment. It takes time but saves boatloads of resin.

A purist might note that the Goodyear Wrangler was a dandy p-rated tire, but might be overkill for a T-rated trailer service tire.
We sold a ton of Marathon trailer tires when I ran the shop at 2 different Goodyear locations. We repaired bearings and wiring on quite few boat trailers too. I do NOT want to sound like a Know-It-All!

Well I know nothing about trailers, including what T and P mean, so I googled Tires for Tandem Car Hauler" (maybe, I am not even sure what words I used) and these came up first and I though "Goodyear, that's a good brand I think". I can make variant tires so folks can choose what they want? The words are pretty easy to add.

I love it and laugh out loud at the same time! Now I'm going to rent a little more space in your head.
Will the tread pattern change too?
MUHHU HAHAHA HAha!
It could but probably won't LOL. That is NOT a quick fix. The letters took 10 minutes, the treads would take me over an hour!

I keep going back and playing with the '79 Scout II. I made the dash and steering wheel finally. Honestly, it turned out FAR better than I hoped LOL. I will say I need a stronger computer now because this file is absolutely enormous. I will give it a command and may as well go make a sandwich! I do a LOT of sitting and watching the little blue thingy spin. It looks like a computer strong enough to deal with this large of a project will be about $3600 give or take, whether laptop or desktop. I am thinking laptop since I need to be mobile with the computer.

I am working on some radios for the MRAP, waiting for the upgrade kit to arrive to see how I did. I can't see the sides of the radio so am guessing at the depth and details. That can be changed once I know more about the dimensions. This is the ANVRC 10RT68

As my lovin' son once pointed out...

"Dad, you're a living encyclopedia of useless information!"

His way of stating TMI but it avoids him asking too many questions!
