3D Printing and Blender files

You can look at photos all day long but you won't get a sense of how big this printer is until you see it in person. My previous printer was the Phrozen Mega 8K. The plate and vat on this are at least triple the size.

I am glad I ordered several bottles of resin. I am looking forward to printing my first model. It may take some study before that happens!

Are the tirme downs OK before I add them down the sides. And I think what is confusing is being able to see the lines. They don't print but are part of the geometry.

So are those objects already defined in Blender or are you creating the D ring from scratch?

The cross members and side rails would also probably be channel steel, or I beam style, not solid rectangular cross section bars. (welded together of course) The cross members would not have the holes in them that you have. If you are going for accuracy, the springs would not go into blocks on the underside. The front attachment would be between two supports so it could pivot a little, the rear would have a set of levers that would pivot and allow the spring to lengthen and shorten as it flexed. I can sketch it later if you need.

The square design is for printing strength as channel or I beam would be mighty thin but I can look at it again. The spring blocks instead of two supports are for printing strength as well. I thought about the wiring holes for a while befire putting them in. I know they wouldn't be on the real thing but though ,"Man, wouldn't it be nice to be able to run wire and brake lines easier". I may make it with and without.

D ring from scratch. I cheated though and used the spring U bolt and indivudual bolt heads I had already created for the Scout. I just had to make a plate and add the bolt eyes then resize pieces and join it all together.

Ok, I beams and Channels as thin as I dared. Tie down hooks in place all around. The end blocks for the springs are modified some but still a little unrealistic for strength.
