1 day to go guys and gals. I hope everyone will please enter and build in our fight against cancer. Even if you don't finish it will help show solidarity. Looking forward to seeing what we can do to help in the fight. Modelers Alliance is full of great people and a fun place to be. Lets show Cancer we are also fighters who care. To Mark, Duke Maddog our patron this year, to our other members currently battling this horrid disease, to Elizabeth Weiss and Mig, and a world of people affected by it.

Ok dumb question time, where is the donation portal????
Thank you.
Ernie

Not a dumb question at all. Its on the home page, left hand side under your log in. The Paypal button.

I'm a little bit confused (not the first time. Not even the first time today...).

I wasn't here for the first CTA, but was for CTAII. Last year, I seem to remember some type of enrollment where you listed the kit and donated the amount, etc.

Are we doing the same thing this year or do I just donate on the MA link on the home page. Either way is fine and the less work, the better, I just don't want to screw something up and make it harder on anyone.

Okay, CTA's are just like our other campaigns where you have to show the unstarted kit with a date showing. When you finish you put one or two pics in the completed thread.
This has a fee though of $10.00US although more is appreciated. Payment is through the front page paypal or the link Bob gave. We change the paypal portal so that all donations during this period go to the CTA fund and not to supporting our site. All money collected this year will go to the American Cancer Society.
We wish there was a world society but it seems that each country has their own. We believe though that helping any society in the end helps everyone as they build on each others research.
I hope I covered everything, but if not please ask. Every question is valid.

That answers it perfectly James and seems like a better way to go, much simpler.

Looking forward to getting started.

To be fully open about this, the money is going to my Paypal account, it's a bit of a pain to get a good account setup in the name of some fund. All the donation email notices are being copied to James, so we have two records of donations.

It would appear that my hotlink does not work now. Session time out, part of Paypal security no doubt so please do use the portal on the front page. I'll attempt to make one for a banner on the top of the forum as well.
