1. 1/35 M4A1 Conversion for Italeri M4A1 No 225

Next off the list for the year will be the Formations M4A1 conversion ment for the Italeri M4A1 kit No 225. I recieved this Formations conversion as a throw in among some other eBay items. I had one Sherman kit from dragon at the time. I looked around for awhile for a good deal on a Italeri 225 and eventually found a two for one offer. Well, now theres a problem, now there will be a partial kit laying around and that just can't be. So one good deed from someone eventually resulted in me having right at 21 Shermans laying around the house. Sort of like an accident.

The formations kit is actuallyt really nice. What you see has gone together easily and loks nice. The only Italeri part used was the hull, so far, running gear is Tasca/Asuka and the Duckbill T51 track is AFV Club.

Yes, bashing.
The great thing about resin kits, whether they be full or major conversions, is that they make you really appreciate the quality and depth of todays commom offering, almost anything you want can be found in an injection kit anymore and the need to go the route of an aftermarket conversion is rare.

Most things are done, still have lots of duckbills to add but there may actually be primer on this before next weekend is out.
