1/32 Typhoon.

Well my lucky or unlucky day today. Airscale is coming out with a 1/32 Bubble Top Typhoon. I guess its a good thing I accidently bought some decals for one when I got my Car Door Tiffy. Love the typhoon and I even have a fragile link to them as I was on the burial party for a Canadian Typhoon Pilot who was found in 1988 or 1989, I cant remember for sure.

I believe it is a 3D print and, from their BP Defiant, is sure to be GORGEOUS and out of my price range.

The fuselage, wings, tailplane and canopy are injection. The detail bits are printed.

Now they need the Tempest tailed variants. Most had the four bladed prop but a few early production aircraft were fitted with the three bladed prop due to oil seal leaks on the four blade prop control unit.

Sprue Bros just had a 20% off sale on Reskit stuff. I ordered some stuff for 2 helicopters I have the Mil-24 Hind in 1/35th and the CH-54 in 1/35th

One thing I DIDN'T buy was this:



At $183 for this particular add-in I decided to just pass. If this is the BASIC edition, I wonder what is in the non basic edition and what it would run. I did get the external "EASILY SEEN" super detail stuff and OH, MY, God! Am quite impressed with their 3D print stuff.

The Typhoon 1B car door type is absolutely gorgeous. I'll try and take pics soon. The Bubble Top will prove to be just as amazing I think.
I have all the Tarhe parts by Reskit and they are absolutely gorgeous. Their Detailed kits are a work of 3D art. One of these days I will start mine as there is nothing left to get to doll it up. I just need to get that spark back and get building again.

What actually bumped me to get the Reskit parts was they had the Boxes for the engine exhaust for the Mi-24 Hind. So I got the Hind parts and the CH-54 parts. Missed the tail rotor for the 54, so will probably order it at a later time with something else.
