Not very visible, but at least not it looks like silver dope instead of gray plastic.

And now for some colors. Some identification stripes.

Yes... "small" being the keyword here! :eek:hmy: But not ony that: wonderful detailing and a great paint job to follow along, which has already started... this will be a very cool model, IMO!

Hey Christian, are that clamps from a 'helping hands'tool you are using?
If so,I didn't realize you could use them unscrewed in that way.[simple but good idea].

Greetings,Ron.

Looks good Chris, nice update. The Control Horns look spot on. You can get in there and paint with the wings installed?

Hi ron,
It's the same clamps as the one from the helping hands. I bought a whole bag full of them and I use them quite a lot. Same with tooth picks I superglue them to item so I can paint them more easily.

Hi Bob,

looks like I'm gonna have to ( I hope ). That was not part of the original plan but you know how it goes with the best laid plans of mice and men . I'm probably on the G revision by now. :)

Was at Hobby Lobby last night and showed the wife some planes in the scale your working with and told her I'd like to attempt one one day. She said "WOW! you should try one but.... isn't he older than you?" I have no idea what she meant :hmmm
Anyway looking really nice Christian (y)

Using my woman deciphering skills, ( such as they are ) I would say she meant tou should build something smaller still. ( Good luck )

Cheers, Christian B)

I was thinking she meant I'd better stick with what I'm doing untill I grow up

Hello everyone,
this was supposed to be about having fun painting but instead it turned out to be how much time can one spend masking off two even squares with a steel rule on something that will not stand still. Hopefully tomorrow will go better and we can shoot paint.

Just where are the decal gods when you need one ?

Cheers, Christian

Hello everyone,
another small update. Finally got past the point of pushing string uphill. The first color of the insignias are painted on.
