Be aware the MP-48 antenna base used a multi section color coded antenna that would be prominent at this scale.The crap I get myself into...
The seam lines on the antenna mount was just to much to remove from the spring, so I cut it off and made one from wire.

The sections are about 39.5" each so you would use sections MS 49, 50 and 51 which would be light blue at the base then red followed by yellow ending in green.
If I don't use an Adlers nest antenna, I just use alluminium tape on brass rod.I found this out yesterday. It makes sense, since it's so long. Thanks for the reference pics!
