All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

All Righty ... What are you doing today ?

The usual... Stopped at a yard sale and picked up a Monogram P-80 and Revell P-47 for $2 each...

Reseeded the back yard and picked up birthday presents for the sweetie!

Nice finds. I've yet to find any models at a yard sale.

I find 3-5 a year... I usually find stuff in the older transitional neighborhoods.

Spent the day in the studio. Renee got her weekends mixed up, not uncommon with everything going on, so we did Father's day last Sunday.

Blah. I cant say that I hate Fathers Day, but its definitely not really day I celebrate on.

It wasn't until my wife & I started getting very serious when we were dating, probably around 21 or so, that I finally found what I truly felt was a strong father figure, in her father.

My father split in 1980, not long before my first b-day, and wasn't much of a part of my life until I reached out and worked on establishing a relationship when I was in my early 20's. I saw him for the "first time" when I was 10, during the summer of 1990, when my sister & I spent 2 weeks in Des Moines, IA where he lives. We went out again in 1991, and then I didn't see him again until I was 21 or 22 I think.

My mom got married in 1990, and unfortunately he wasn't much of a father figure. He was an ok guy, but just not much of a father figure. They got divorced a couple years ago after having been separated for a couple years before that.

Barney my friend, a colonoscopy is peanuts compared to this! I wouldn't wish this in my worst enemy! It was a good thing nobody was home to see a grown man cry.

SADave, far more than you can imagine! I'm just so glad this is over with!

DMD,

Any biopsy is hell... been there.

I wish you luck and good health...

Thanks guys! Yeah, I hope I never need another one!

Today I'm packing up again. This time I'm heading to Ohio to go assist my brother in fixing up his new house. I'll be gone for two weeks; don't know how many times I'll have access to a computer, but if I can log in; I will. I fly out tomorrow morning early.
