Disappointed :popcorn I thought you were postings some nice old Plymouth photos . :(

Instead , they are NASCAR . They quit being real cars about the time Richard Petty retired . :bang head

Cheers, Christian B)

Brings back memories of the times I used to cruise in my Mustang. I really need to get that thing restored.

:idonno , I'm seeing all kinds of muscle cars and hot rods on there.

Great pics, Ian.

Well guys I hate to disappoint you calling those an automobile is like calling a rocket an airplane .

There are no parts in those machine that come from a real car . They are strictly built from the ground up . Not even the engines come out of real cars unlike the days where street cars were modified for the track.

The Australian V-8 super car series is way more relevant to automobiles that might be found on a city street .

Sorry but anymore NASCAR is closer to rush hour traffic than real racing .

Cheers, Christian B)

Neither do I. I thought I'd posted some pics of last evenings cruise.... Ahh well :idonno

Awesome pictures Ian. I wish I had the money and time to have a car like this. Needs more Fords though!!!

Also, Chris...... where are you getting the NASCAR connection? As much as we could talk about and debate what NASCAR has become, I don't see anything in those pictures that leads to....... :idonno

Thanks Adam (and everyone else). So many Fords 90% of them were Mustangs, thought you'd all get a bit bored of seeing nothing but Ponies. Plenty more FoMoCo products when AmeriCarna hits town next week.

There'll be so many cars to see, I see almost no work and no modelling happening during school hours and as soon as Frau gets home I'll be out doing more evening pics. Got an offer to join one of the cruises in my mates' 2011 Parnelli Jones Boss 302, so some '...and this is us driving through (?)' pics may well be forthcoming !!

AFN, glad everybody enjoyed the photos. I really enjoyed taking them :v
