Many know the problem:
Decals on Zimmerit is a pain. And even if you succeed with lots of Set/Sol, the decal has shrinked considerably.
Now there are templates ou there, but they cost. The complete set (crosses, numbers etc) is about 50-60 dollar.
And then they are hard to handle, try to hold them while brushing, or get in a difficult corner...
What I did:
Place the desired decals on a thin styreen sheet (0,25 mm) as usual (wet)
When dry, cut them out with a razorblade.
And you have perfect templates for free !
Use Tamiya tape (best there is) to attach them where you want.
Easy to clean with nailpolish-remover (WITHOUT ACETON !!!)
Side effect that it is more real, this way they used to be brushed.
Some possibilities (with even the white bordelines)
A nice sharp-edged cross
