I don't see guns for the glazing to be painted over so it could be a hack, or (my theory which I am sticking to) the guns are removed for maintenance.
Looking over MACRs (Missing Air Crew Reports) I came across this one for a heavy gunship A-20B with Six fixed 50 Cals (nose and cheeks), one flexible 50 Ca on lower, twin flex 30 Cal on upper, and two fixed 30 Cals in the nacelles:

Well, these are very faded OD as the Havoc in the foreground wouldn't be flying without an anti-glare panel if it were indeed NMF.Or this one if I dare an NMF scheme:
